Contratulations to Tia Blunden! 
Tia is a Whistler Secondary student who helped put together the graphic work and posters for the Women of Whistler's Dazzle and Deliver for Business Conference.
Tia has been accepted as a student to the Emily Carr University. 

Sue Adams Honoured with BIV Influential Women in Business Award for 2007

CONGRATULATIONS SUE ADAMS! You deserve it and we are all proud of you.

Sue Adams, WOW founding member is one of 5 business women to win the Business in Vancouver Influencial Women in Business Award for 2007.

Sue is Chair of the Board of the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival, having been a member of the Board for the past four years.

In her other life (in addition to being married to Bob) she is the Managing Partner of a firm which operates The Grocery Store in Whistler as well as a catering business and another grocery store in Pemberton. She has, in the past, managed several very successful boutique restaurants.

Sue is also Vice Chair of the Board and a member of the Executive Committee of the North Shore Credit Union and a Governor and member of the Executive Committee of the Playhouse Theatre Company. She is and has been involved in a wide range of other community volunteer activities.

Most important of all, she has been a wonderful mentor and supporter of young people, a number of whom now run their own successful businesses. This woman has “Influence”!
