Principal of Lighthouse Visionary Strategies

Cathy Goddard has called Whistler home since 1988.  After starting an employment agency in 1995, she sold it after thirteen years to start a new venture as Principal of Lighthouse Visionary Strategies.  Lighthouse delivers business solutions through collaboration, personalized strategies and targeted results.  The objective is to engage and empower people through workshops and customized facilitation sessions.

Cathy writes a weekly business column for the Whistler Question newspaper, serves on the Board of the Whistler Community Services Society and is Past-Chair of the Women of Whistler Planning Committee.    She is a Mentor with Women’s Enterprise Centre and will be spearheading their peer mentorship program in Whistler this fall.  Cathy is currently running workshops for Community Futures Howe Sound on Exit Strategies:  How to Successfully Sell Your Business. 

She facilitated pre-games training orientations for the 2010 Winter Games, served as a Community Leader in the Minerva Foundation’s 2009 Learning to Lead Program and has taught business education programs for  Whistler’s young people through Junior Achievement of BC.
